Donald Wayne Kitchen, 75, of Oklahoma City, OK, passed away Saturday, March 28th, 2015. He was born June 29th, 1939 in Bradshaw, TX. He was preceded in death by his father E.L. Kitchen, his mother Nola & daddy Jim, and one sister Linda Alexander. Don served in the US Navy. After he returned from the service he spent most of his life working in the restaurant business as a franchise owner. He enjoyed family gatherings and holidays. He looked forward to golfing with the guys and palling around. He enjoyed the many small vacation trips...

Kitchen, his mother Nola & daddy Jim, and one sister Linda Alexander. Don served in the US Navy. He will be greatly missed by his wife Janet and all his family and friends. Don leaves behind his wife Janet Kitchen of the home; his children Dede and husband Deron Harrington of Missouri City, TX, Heather & husband Chris Phenicie of Missouri City, TX, Donny Kitchen of Duncan, OK, Cathy and husband Mark Minx of Oklahoma City, OK, and Carah and husband Shawn Blair of Muskogee, OK; his sister Juanell and husband Bill Brown of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other family and friends. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Children's Center Rehabilitation Hospital, 6800 NW 39th Expressway, Bethany, OK 73008. A funeral service will be held 2pm Wednesday, April 1, at Bill Merritt Funeral Service in Bethany, OK.
