Raymond Charles Hickman, 60, passed away March 27, 2015 in Oklahoma City. He was born March 13, 1955 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Charles Edward Hickman and Lois Pauline (Britton) Hickman. Raymond grew up in Tulsa, where he attended Southern Hills Methodist Church and graduated from Tulsa Memorial High School in 1973, then going on to attend the Vo Tech in Okmulgee where he trained to become a machinist from 1974-1975. Raymond Charles Hickman, 60, passed away March 27, 2015 in Oklahoma City. He was born March 13, 1955 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Charles Edward Hickman and Lois Pauline (Britton) Hickman. Raymond grew up in Tulsa, where he attended Southern Hills Methodist Church and graduated from Tulsa Memorial High School in 1973, then going on to attend the Vo Tech in Okmulgee where he trained to become a machinist from 1974-1975. After attending Vo Tech, he served in the U.S. Navy from 1976 until 1980. Throughout his life Raymond held many accomplishments, including becoming an Eagle Scout and a skilled woodcarver, and later a member of the Woodcraft Wood Carvers Club. He was also a bus driver for over 20 years for the Oklahoma City Metro Transit, driving tour buses and disabled bus shuttles. Raymond is preceded in death by his father, Charles Hickman; his first wife, Cecelia. He is survived by his wife, Xyla Hickman, of Oklahoma City; mother, Lois Steiger, of Stillwater; sister, Rebecca Hickman, of Stillwater; and uncle, Leroy Hickman, of Tulsa and step-son, David Mann.
